How to create a flash banner |
In this tutorial we are going to show how to create a simple aniamted flash banner. The effect we will use is a fade-in, fade-out animation tween. Your final banner should look like this
Before we start importing the images to Flash, we need to be sure that all of our images have the same size (height and width). You can do that easly in Photoshop by using the crop tool.
Let's begin!
Open Flash, New Document: File > Import to stage. Select all the images and choose import.
|
 |
After you imported the images, you will need to move the images to center of the stage so that will cover the exact stage size. Also you should modify the stage size to your pictures width and height.
Just click the Properties tab on the bottom of the screen (be sure you don't have anything selected), and modify by pressing the Size tab.

 |
Now it's time to move the images to different layers. In this case we are using 3 images. Select one of the images and press Ctrl-X, create another layer, with the new layer selected - press Ctrl-Shit-V, this will drop the image in the same position it was before. I recommend using this all the time, instead of Ctrl-V.

Now we need to create the tween animation. Go to frame 30 on the Timeline, select the keyframes like in the image above, and press F5.
With the keyframes selected right-click and choose Create Motion Tween
Press F6. You should see something similar to this.
Do the same for the timeline frame 30 to 60. Now select the keyframes on all three layers situated on the timeline on frame 1, and press once on the stage (images). Go to the Properties tab and select Alpha 0% from the color dropdown menu.
Do the same for the end of the animation on frame 60. Choose Alpha 0%.
It's time to move the timeline layers into their end position. You need to move the layers by using the F5 hotkey.
